I’m not a Christian – am I welcome?
Very much so! We would love for you to hear about Jesus and our church service is a great place for this.
What time should I arrive?
The service starts at the advertised time. Feel free to arrive earlier and talk to some friendly people.
How to get there?
You can drive but parking is pretty horrendous in the area. We are just across from the Newtown train station and are along major bus routes too. You should see a sign out the front of the Neighbourhood Centre with the Resolved logo. We are up the set of stairs and through the first glass doors.
How long does the service go for?
Services generally run between 60-90 minutes.
What should I wear?
Feel free to wear whatever you want. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. On a scale of singlets and thongs to a full business suit we are much closer to the singlet and thongs.
Where do I sit?
You can sit wherever you like. There is always plenty of seating for everybody.
What happens during the service?
Some things may change between services but there are many common elements. Each week we sing some songs, pray, read the bible and hear a talk from the bible.
What participation is required?
No participation is required. You won’t be singled out during service and are free to leave whenever you want.
Are children welcome?
Kids are most definitely welcome. There is Kid’s Church catered for kids from the age of 1 and over during the service. However parents are more than welcome to take their babies into the Kid’s Church room and stay with them.
There is wheelchair access in the building. There is a slight incline to the front door and there is an elevator to the second floor where Resolved is held.
